Let me help you build your bathing suit collection! Here are the 5 bathing suits I brought on a 3-week vacation to Mexico! This isn’t resort-wear, this is adventure-wear! Buy bathing suits that double as body suits. Bring bathing suits I can hike a waterfalls in, go shopping in, and just feel cute and comfy. This is how you take your suits from day to night!

1. Blue Cut-Out One-Piece

Check out my list of bathing suits for a Mexico vacation

I love a one-piece suit that looks like a two-piece suit! You still get some cute tan lines, but have your tummy covered enough to drink all the beer and eat all the tacos!

What I love:

❤ The bright blue color!

❤ Adjustable straps!

❤ Comfortable enough to wear all day!

Best For:

✅ Drinking beers by the pool.

✅ Hiking waterfalls

✅ Feeling sexy but not too sexy.

2. Summersalt Sidestroke – Lava & hibiscus

Summersalt Sidestroke Bathing Suit for Mexico travel

I own this Sidestroke by Summersalt in four colors!!! This suit is the unicorn of one-piece swimsuits! It is flattering for all shapes and sizes! Especially in this color!

Listen to this little fact about Summersalt:”We took over 1.5 million body measurements from 10,000 women to inform the Summersalt fit,” and it shows!

What I love:

❤ The vibrant, fun colors!

❤ Total chic comfort.

❤ High-quality material that lasts.

Best For:

✅ Exploring towns and beaches.

✅ Wearing as a body suit.

✅ Tummy control & boob control.

3. Summersalt Sidestroke – Olive Green

Summersalt Sidestroke – Olive Green

I feel like such a classy woman wearing this one-shoulder swimsuit in such a classy color. I’m wearing size 8 here, which sucks me in and makes this suit feel like a body suit.

What I love:

❤ How it pairs with flowy pants.

❤ The sophisticated color.

❤ The one-shoulder sleekness.

Best For:

✅ Wearing from the pool to dinner.

✅ Doubling as a body suit.

✅ Active vacation adventures.

4. Bright Plunge Suit

Bathing Suit for a Mexico vacation - Bright Plunge

Okay this baby was sold out online but another suit that I own and find very similar is this deep-plunge wrap suit.

What I love:

❤ The high-cut legs

❤ The flattering shape.

❤ How it pushes your ta-tas together!

Best For:

✅ Beach clubs and resort wear!

✅ Leisurely vacation days.

✅ Being a sexy beast.

5. Wild Isles Bikini

I have never been a big fan of two-piece suits; they make me feel naked! But Wild Isles swimwear is meant for girls with curves so it really holds you in! Wild Isles was created by two women who wanted practical swim suits for women with boobs and butts!

What I love:

❤ A two-piece that covers!

❤ Easy returns & exchanges within 45 days.

❤ The long-line top makes for a cute crop-top!

Best For:

✅ Girls with big boobs and butts!

✅ Boat days and beach days

✅ Feeling covered yet sexy.

Red bathing suit for Mexico travels

For reference, I usually wear a size Medium or size 8 in suits! I made a reel of me wearing these 5 bathing suits so you can see how they fit me HERE

Ps. Here is the resort where all these photos are taken. It’s called Las Alamandas, a couple hours drive from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

Conclusion

Packing light is the key to enjoying your travels. You don’t want to be the girl carrying around 5lbs of swim wear that you never wear! Choose versatile pieces that mix and match with jean shorts, flowy skirts and bottoms! And above else, make sure that you feel powerful and comfortable because aint no body got time to be thinkin’ about their tummy or their butt while on a beach in Mexico. Find what feels right to you.
