SOLO GIRL'S TRIPS

Please read the following booking conditions carefully, as they apply to all bookings made through Solo Girls Trips.
Solo Girls Trips, LLC (“Solo Girls Trips,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) creates and hosts safe, meaningful, and unforgettable travel experiences for women around the world.

We work in collaboration with trusted, experienced Outfitters and local partners, and at times we also serve as the primary Operator of our trips. In certain cases, we operate independently; in others, we co-operate or co-host with a licensed Outfitter. These distinctions may vary by destination and will be clearly stated in your trip details.
By booking a trip with us, you (“Client,” “you”) agree to these Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”), which form a binding contract between you and Solo Girls Trips, LLC.

To maintain the safety and integrity of every trip, all participants agree to the following behavioral standards:

Main Rules:
  • No physical violence of any kind.
  • No use or possession of illegal drugs in any city, state, or country where those substances are prohibited. Example: Cannabis use is illegal in Mexico and therefore prohibited during our Mexico trips.
  • No participation in illegal activities, including purchasing or transporting illegal goods.
  • No misuse or overuse of prescription medications (e.g., Valium, sedatives, or other drugs) that impair judgment or create a safety risk.
  • No substance use before or during physically demanding or high-responsibility activities, including but not limited to hiking, snorkeling, swimming, boating, or similar excursions.
  • No harassment, bullying, or aggressive behavior toward other guests, guides, staff, or locals.

Violations of these conditions may result in:
(a) cancellation of your reservation,
(b) forfeiture of all monies paid, and
(c) denial of access to trip activities, accommodations, or other services.
Solo Girls Trips is not responsible for any legal, medical, or financial consequences resulting from your participation in illegal, unsafe, or unkind activities.

Contract

Violations by You

Before making a booking, please ensure that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions.

By requesting confirmation of your booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms herein.

Please note: This Agreement includes waivers of liability, class action waivers, and jurisdictional clauses.
You represent and warrant that:
You are of legal age and capacity to enter into this Agreement.

You are legally authorized to act on behalf of yourself and any other travelers you book for.

All information provided to us is true and accurate.

Tour Cancellation Policy

We understand that life happens — and while our small-group adventures require firm policies to protect the experience for everyone, we always strive to be fair, transparent, and compassionate.

All cancellations must be made in writing and are effective on the date received at alexa@alexa-west.com.

If We Cancel Your Spot
If Solo Girls Trips determines that a guest is not a good fit for the group experience or that unforeseen circumstances make your participation impossible, you will receive a 100% refund of all payments made.

If You Cancel
We incur costs long before your trip begins — including deposits to local partners, outfitters, guides, accommodations, and administrative preparation.

For that reason, the following terms apply to all cancellations initiated by the Client:
  • Deposits are non-refundable. However, if we are able to fill your spot with another suitable traveler, 50% of your deposit may be refunded or credited toward a future trip (at our sole discretion).
  • Cancellations 90+ days before departure: We will make a good-faith effort to assist you in transferring or partially crediting your booking. When feasible, up to 50% of your deposit may be applied as a credit toward another trip departing within 12 months. Credits are valid for 12 months and subject to availability.
  • Cancellations made within 89 days or less: We will always make reasonable efforts to help; however, cancellations within this timeframe severely limit our ability to recover costs or rebook your space. Accordingly, no refunds or credits are guaranteed or owed. If we are able, at our sole discretion, to fill your spot with another qualified participant, a partial credit or refund may be extended as a gesture of goodwill.
  • Cancellations made at or during the trip: No credit or refund will be issued.
  • No-shows: No credit or refund will be issued.

All refunds or credits, when applicable, are subject to a $200 processing and administrative fee.

General Refund Policy
Refunds, credits, and transfers are never guaranteed under any circumstances.

Solo Girls Trips may, at its sole discretion, offer a partial refund or credit if it is possible to fill your vacated spot or recover non-refundable supplier costs.

Any such gesture is voluntary and does not constitute a continuing obligation or precedent for future cases.

You acknowledge that all retained funds represent a genuine pre-estimate of costs and losses incurred by Solo Girls Trips due to your cancellation.

These retained amounts are agreed by both parties as liquidated damages, not a penalty, and are intended to fairly compensate Solo Girls Trips for administrative time, supplier commitments, and other unrecoverable expenses.

Travel Insurance & Protection

Travel insurance is mandatory for all Solo Girls Trips participants.

Proof of travel insurance must be submitted no later than seven (7) days before your trip’s departure date.

Failure to provide proof of coverage by this deadline may result in removal from the trip without refund.

Your travel insurance policy must include, at a minimum:
  • Trip cancellation and interruption coverage
  • Emergency medical coverage
  • Emergency evacuation and repatriation coverage

Depending on your itinerary, certain adventures may require enhanced coverage.

If your trip includes activities such as scuba diving, whitewater rafting, rock climbing, skydiving, or any other high-adventure experience, you may be required to show proof of an adventure-grade insurance policy that explicitly covers these activities.

If you are uncertain which policy is right for you, you may contact Alexa directly for guidance and recommendations.

Please note: Solo Girls Trips and its Outfitters are not insurance providers and cannot evaluate the adequacy of your individual policy. Each participant is solely responsible for verifying that their insurance meets the required coverage and activity specifications.

The Solo Girls Promise to Fairness

We’re travelers too — and we know that things can go wrong no matter how well you plan.

Our promise is to approach every situation with understanding, honesty, and fairness.

If an emergency, illness, or covered reason forces you to cancel, we’ll work with you — within the limits of your travel insurance and our policies — to help you recover or transfer your investment whenever possible.

Tour Postponement

We rarely need to postpone our trips — but in certain cases, such as global events, natural disasters, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, it may happen.

If your trip is postponed, we will transfer 100% of all payments made to another departure date of your choosing (for the same or a different tour) within the next 12 months. You may also choose to transfer your spot to another qualified traveler if you are unable to attend the new date.

Booking Conditions

Each Solo Girls Trips tour requires a minimum of 12 guests to run, unless otherwise noted.

Trips are not considered confirmed until the minimum group size has been reached, typically 60–90 days before departure.

Deposit & Final Payment

Your deposit secures your spot and is applied toward the total cost of your trip.

The final balance due date will be set by Alexa on a trip-by-trip basis, typically between 3 and 6 months prior to departure, unless otherwise stated.

If final payment is not received by the due date, your booking may be canceled, and any refund or credit will be considered on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of Solo Girls Trips.

If you would like to arrange a payment plan, please contact Alexa directly.

Payment Methods

We accept credit card, PayPal, or bank transfer. Cash payments are not accepted.

Credit Card Bookings
By authorizing payment, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions.

Chargebacks filed for transactions properly authorized by you are considered unlawful and in violation of this Agreement.

We reserve the right to dispute and recover any improper chargebacks, including all fees and expenses associated with that dispute.

Prices

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are current at the time of publication.

Solo Girls Trips reserves the right to adjust tour prices prior to final payment due to factors beyond our control (such as exchange rate changes or supplier increases).

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors at any time before final confirmation.

Changes and Cancellations by Suppliers

In rare cases, suppliers may need to modify or cancel certain itinerary elements.

We will communicate any significant changes and coordinate with suppliers on your behalf.

Such modifications do not entitle clients to a refund unless a supplier refund is received.

Code of Conduct & Participant Responsibility

Solo Girls Trips experiences are designed to foster community, safety, and respect.

By booking, you agree to uphold these standards and understand that participation requires cooperation, punctuality, and personal responsibility.

ADHERENCE TO LOCAL LAWS & LOCAL CUSTOMS
While traveling domestically or internationally, you must comply with all local laws, customs, and regulations.

Solo Girls Trips and its staff are not responsible for legal, medical, or financial issues arising from your actions, including arrest, hospitalization, or detention.

Once the trip concludes, Solo Girls Trips is under no obligation to remain behind or provide assistance if you encounter legal or medical issues.

SUBSTANCE ABUSE
The use, possession, or purchase of illegal drugs or controlled substances is strictly prohibited.

This includes the misuse or overuse of prescription medications (e.g., sedatives, painkillers, or anti-anxiety drugs) that may impair judgment or behavior.

Guests must not consume alcohol or medication in a manner that endangers themselves or others, especially before or during physical activities.

Violations of this clause may result in immediate removal from the trip without refund.

STRAYING FROM THE ITINERARY
If you deviate from the itinerary (e.g., staying out late, sleeping away from the group, going on a date, or missing curfew), you acknowledge that:
  • You are acting entirely at your own risk.
  • Solo Girls Trips is not responsible for your transportation, safety, or well-being once you have left the group.
  • If your absence causes you to miss scheduled activities or transport, you will not receive any refund or credit.
  • If your actions are deemed unsafe or disruptive, you may be removed from the remainder of the trip without refund.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
You agree to sleep in the accommodations provided each night.

Unauthorized overnight absences (e.g., leaving to stay elsewhere) are a violation of this Agreement and may result in removal from the trip.

Slander & Defamation Clause

Solo Girls Trips and its founder, Alexa West, are professional brands built on integrity and trust.

By participating, you agree not to make or publish false, defamatory, or misleading statements — written, spoken, or posted online — that could harm the reputation, business, or staff of Solo Girls Trips.

This includes statements made on social media, online reviews, or public forums that:
  • Knowingly misrepresent the trip experience or staff conduct,
  • Contain false or malicious allegations, or
  • Intentionally damage the goodwill of the brand.

Constructive feedback is always welcome through official channels. False or defamatory claims may result in legal action for damages and fees.

Force Majeure

Solo Girls Trips assumes no liability for any loss, damage, delay, or cancellation caused by events beyond our control, including natural disasters, weather, strikes, terrorism, pandemics, government actions, or supplier failure.

If such an event occurs, Solo Girls Trips is not required to issue refunds; however, if we are able to recover funds from suppliers, we will pass those along to you.

Destinations

Travel to certain destinations may involve greater risks.
It is your responsibility to remain informed about travel advisories issued by your home government.

Solo Girls Trips is not liable for damages or losses resulting from travel to countries or regions under active travel warnings.

Passports & Visas

All travelers are responsible for obtaining and carrying a valid passport and any required visas or entry documents.

Your passport must have at least six (6) months’ validity beyond your return date.

Solo Girls Trips is not responsible for denied boarding, visa rejections, or delays due to incomplete or invalid documentation.

Clients Who Require Special Assistance

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate special needs or dietary requests, but we cannot guarantee all requests can be met in all destinations.

Guests must inform us at booking of any:
  • Medical conditions or mobility limitations
  • Dietary needs (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, allergies)

Meals may contain meat, dairy, eggs, or local ingredients unless arranged otherwise.

All travelers are responsible for managing their own dietary needs and health decisions.

Limitation of Liability & Assumption of Risk

Participation in any Solo Girls Trips experience involves inherent risks, including but not limited to injury, illness, property loss, or death.

By booking, you voluntarily assume all such risks and agree that Solo Girls Trips, its owners, employees, agents, and partners shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage except for cases of proven gross negligence or willful misconduct.

In no event shall Solo Girls Trips’ total liability exceed the amount paid for your booking.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Solo Girls Trips, LLC, its directors, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or losses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising from your actions or violations of these Terms.

Media Release

By participating, you grant Solo Girls Trips, LLC a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use photographs, video, or audio recordings of you for promotional or marketing purposes, unless you opt out in writing before departure.

Governing Law, Jurisdiction & Dispute Resolution

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any claims shall be brought exclusively in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Washington State.

You agree to bring claims only in your individual capacity and not as part of a class or representative action.
Solo Girls Trips shall not be liable for punitive damages.

All claims must be submitted in writing within thirty (30) days of the trip’s conclusion or cancellation.

Acknowledgment & Acceptance

By submitting payment or confirming your booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all of the above Terms and Conditions on behalf of yourself and any travelers included in your booking.

This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between you and Solo Girls Trips, LLC and supersedes all prior communications or representations.
